“红岩精神”形成于山城重庆,在中国革命的历史进程中发挥了巨大作用,是中华民族宝贵的精神财富.其蕴含的爱国、奉献、团结、奋斗的精神实质在建设有中国特色社会主义的新时期仍具有鲜明的时代价值.重庆高校应充分挖掘“红岩精神”的实质内涵,将“红岩精神”融入大学生思想政治教育,用“红岩精神”的实质和精髓教育、培养和塑造人才,这不仅是对“红岩精神”的传承和弘扬,更是适应时代呼唤,加强大学生理想信念教育的有效途径.

Formed in the mountain city of Chongqing, Hongyan spirit took an important role in the history of China revolution and is the precious spiritual treasure of Chinese nation. The spiritual essence of patriotism, devotion, unity and struggle inside still has distinct value of times in new era of building Socialism with Chi-nese characteristics. Chongqing universities should fully exploit the essence of Hongyan spirit, bring it into the ideological and political education for college students, educate, cultivate and model talents with its essence. This is not only the inheritance and propagation for Hongyan spirit, but also an effective way to adapt to the era and enhance the education of college students' ideal and faith.
