抗战期间,欧阳予倩将他一系列桂剧改革的理论与主张融合于具体的实践中,这种尝试实际上贯彻了“改戏”、“改人”、“改制”三并举的方针,这种对旧剧全方位的改革经验为后来新中国戏剧改革所运用.可以说,欧阳予倩的桂剧改革为中国传统戏曲的现代化提供了可借鉴的途径.
抗戰期間,歐暘予倩將他一繫列桂劇改革的理論與主張融閤于具體的實踐中,這種嘗試實際上貫徹瞭“改戲”、“改人”、“改製”三併舉的方針,這種對舊劇全方位的改革經驗為後來新中國戲劇改革所運用.可以說,歐暘予倩的桂劇改革為中國傳統戲麯的現代化提供瞭可藉鑒的途徑.

During the Anti-Japanese War, Ouyang Yuqian put a series of theories and ideas into Guiju reform, which actual y proves to be a tenta?tive of carrying out the policy of “Opera-reforming”, “Actor-reforming” and “System-reforming”. The experience of this overal traditional opera reform has been absorbed later in this circle after the foundation of Republic of China. In short, Ouyang Yuqian’s Guiju reform provides a valu?able perspective for the modernization of Chinese traditional opera reform.
