在对现有上海市工程地质分区方案进行优化的基础上,提出工程地质分区应与地貌单元划分相区分,以全新统地层厚度差异作为工程地质分区主要依据的观点;拟定了各工程地质区地基土层次名称表,提出次级分区方案的具体建议.以期引起业内同行的关注与讨论,及早形成统一的工程地质分区方案,并在相关的技术标准修订时予以考虑.

@@@@Based on an analysis of the existing approach to engineering geology in the Shanghai area, this paper concludes that the use of landforms as the principle element of the classification system used to characterize subsurface conditions should be replaced by a system based on the underlying Holocene stratigraphy. Consequently, this paper establishes a basic soil sequence table for each engineering geological division, and suggests possible methods for defining further subdivisions. Through this, we hope to stimulate wide discussion amongst engineering geologists regarding this problem, with the aim of agreeing a new scheme, based on stratigraphic principles, with which to define engineering geological conditions in Shanghai as soon as possible.
