As an advanced communication means,frequency hopping communications technology has been widely used in civil and military areas. There are variety of frequency hopping communications techniques. The paper introduces a mathematical model of gray relational evaluation to evaluate the frequency hopping communication system,compares the performance advan?tages and disadvantages of the fixed?frequency communication system and several common frequency hopping communication sys?tems to find an optimal communication system. Finally,the paper describes the scope of application of several frequency hop?ping communication systems from a practical point of view.
