根据实际工程需要,对回旋行波管的输入窗和输出窗结构分别进行了理论分析,选取蓝宝石作为窗片材料,通过HFSS进行了仿真及优化.仿真结果表明,输入窗采用传统的盒型结构在92.6~100 GHz频段范围内,S11小于-20 dB,同时S21大于-0.08 dB,传输效率达到98%以上,有效带宽达到7.4 GHz.输出窗采用新型双窗片结构,并且对双窗片结构进行了理论分析.仿真结果表明,在92~101.1 GHz的频段范围内,S11小于-20 dB,同时S21大于-0.08 dB,有效带宽达到9.1 GHz,带宽比传统的单窗片结构提高了近3.4 GHz.

Theoretical analysis on structures of pill?box input window and double?window output window for W?band gyro?TWT,working in TE01 mode,is conducted according to the actual engineering demand. Sapphire was chosen as the window mate?rial. Simulation and optimization were performed with HFSS. The simulation result shows that the bandwidth of both the two win?dows(input and output window)meets the demand of S11<-20 dB and S21>-0.08 dB,and their bandwidthes are 7.4 GHz and 9.1 GHz respectively. Compared with the conventional window,the bandwidth of the improved window increased nearly 3.4 GHz.
