In the technical revamping of the frequency converter used in the consistent-pressure water supply system for caster modes, the comparison between the consistent-pressure water supply solution with frequency converter and water supply with throttle valve shows the frequency converter offers energy-saveing function for the water supply system. The article corrects the modus operandi that applies the proportionality law of water pumps to exaggerate the energy-saving function of frequencyconverterswithoutanalysingspecificrunningconditionofwaterpumpsintherevampofthefrequencyconverter.
