Endangerment of formaldehyde was introduced. Two quantitative examination methods in the industry standard SC/T3025-2006 for formaldehyde content in aquatic products were compared, which were spectrophotometry and HPLC method. By comparing and studying, advantages and disadvantages of these two methods were pointed out.
