The influence of modification of TiN nano?particles on the microstructure and properties of A356 aluminum alloy was investigated. The results show that the shape and distribution of silicon phases are modified and refined by TiN nano?particles plated with Ni. The tensile strength and elongation of modified alloys are increased by 11%and 92%,respectively.
