The study on wear mechanism of Cr12MoV steel has engineering application value. The effect of different heat treatment technology on microstructrue and wear property of Cr12MoV steel was studied using SEM. The experimental results indicate that the wear mechanism of different heat treated Cr12MoV steel under dry sliding wear condition is composite wear of adhesive wear and abrasive wear.
