@@@@Based on schema theory which is widely applied in studies on foreign language reading and listening comprehen -sion, the current study intends to probe into the application of schema to interpreting .Following a general introduction to sche-ma theory and analysis of the relation between interpreting and schema theory , the author proposes an assessment of interpreting from the four aspects of language , formal, content and culture schemata.
