Accelerometer is a sensor used to measure motion of bodies from viewpoint of acceleration, which measures linear acceleration or angular acceleration of the carrier by detecting inertial force of masses. The paper introduces magnetic-suspension pendulum gyro integrating accelerometer which consists of active magnetic-suspension control circuit and gyro float. The accelerometer has the advantage of high measurement range and high precision etc. Due to limitation of assembly space inside overall system, active magnetic-suspension control circuit is designed and fabricated by SiP technique in the design of integrated product, which reduces the bottom area and height of the circuit and meets demand for assembly and use of the product. The paper presents SiP-based circuit design in detail and elaborates on SiP structure design made by HTCC process. The paper also summarizes the technical performance and application of SiP product made by HTCC process.
