Mr. Yuanchong Xu has proposed“Three Beauties” theory, that is, “beauty in sense, sound and form”, and he has made brilliant contribution to translation of Chinese poetry. From the perspective of aesthetics, this paper does research on “three beauties” and analyzes three translated English versions of a Tang poetry “A Tranquil Night”.
