Through analyzing the features and structure of dry-type air-core reac-tor, this article fully discussed the installation and operation conditions for dry-type air-core reactor and the hidden problems. Based on these discoveries, this article further pro-posed ideas and requirements on how to set-up hold points for quality control which pro-vided guidance in equipment construction supervision in equipment installation phase.
