The standard testing conditions in laboratories is much more harsh than in loading use. Therefore the laboratory safety is a problem to be reckoned with in the test process of electrically propelled road vehicles for lithium-ion cell batteries. This paper introduces the safety and protection of the battery cell test based on the practice and exploration.
