Threedimensional model of a segment erector was set up using threedimensional modeling software Pro/E,and then the model was imported into simulation software ADAMS. Using ADAMS,kinematics,dynamic simulation and analyses for three typical operating conditions of the segment erector were made. The analysis results demonstrate the rationality of the design.
