Rock-fill concrete technology was invented by the Department of Hydraulic Engineering of Tsinghua University and got a patent awarded by the state. Its technical characteristic is to use a dedicated self-compacting concrete to fill rock-fill gap and form a complete compacting concrete which is low carbon, low heat of hydration, the simple process, low cost, rapid construction speed and other features. In the application in reinforcement engineering of No.2 reservoir at Shuigoukou, its advantages are reflected.
