随着医学科学的发展,人们对医学的认识已由单纯生物学观点扩大到心理学、社会学等学科的范围,医学模式正由生物医学模式转向“生物—心理—社会”医学模式,这一新的医学模式导致了医学目的的转变,即要求医务工作者不能把患者看作是一个单纯的自然生物,而是自然属性和社会属性相结合的服务对象.新型医学目的就是不断完善人类自身及其生存条件,防治疾病,恢复、维护和增进健康,提高生命质量,舒适并延年益寿以及适应社会发展,从而追求患者的满足.
