The transition of military schools’educational functions and the application of new equipment bring about some new requirements for the teaching modes and methods currently in use and teaching ability of instructors. By thinking, analyzing and summarizing the teaching reform and practice in recent years, this article tries to find out some effective methods and approaches of improving instructors’ability of office-holding teaching, from the realities and in terms of five aspects of the teaching idea, the professional basis, the practicing skills, the teaching mode and the supporting mechanism, thus offering a reference for enhancing the talents’ training quality of office-holding education.
