On the basis of on-site testing data toward soft foundation treating project of Boubyan seaport in Kuwait,this pa-per calculates the final foundation settlement by using hyperbolic method,theoretical curve fitting and ASAOKA method, meanwhile to compare and feasibility analyze to these different methods. It can be concluded the ASAOKA method suitable for Boubyan Island soft foundation treatment engineering calculation of ultimate settlement. The method is practical and can pro-vide reliable data references for the latter constructions.
