With the introduction of 3G and LTE, the interference produced by Passive InterModulaion (PIM) has become a major issue both from customer perception and for mobile network performance. This paper presents the mechanisms of PIM production. By the reasonable hypothesis and with interferences addition, the sensitivity is calculated with and without PIM interference present. The effects of PIM on indoor distribution system coverage are presented with the aid of mobile communication propagation model.
