The dispose of the impurity in vidarabine is difficult, so it only can proceed in the productive process. The author analyzed each steps of the intermediate, made use of the water solu-bility of the intermediates (8-sulfhydryl vidarabine) in step 6 to remove impurity, and finally at-tained the goal that improving the yield.
