针对传统的 WiMAX网络存在系统覆盖半径不足、信号传输不佳等问题,IEEE802.16工作组制定了支持多跳传输的IEEE802.16j标准.在研究 WiMAX多跳网络选路算法的基础上,针对移动站电池容量的限制,提出了一种考虑移动站节能的选路算法;同时考虑移动站节能的要求,对基于信噪比的选路算法进行了改进.仿真结果表明:考虑移动站节能的选路算法可降低移动站总的能耗,但占用了更多的系统资源,而改进后的基于信噪比的选路算法在移动站平均流量较小的情况下,能够降低总的耗能.

For the problems such as limited radius of coverage, poor quality of signal transmission in WiMAX networks, the IEEE802.16 work group has developed IEEE 802.16j standard to support multi-hop transmission. Based on the studies of routing algorithms in WiMAX multi-hop networks, a path selection algorithm considering energy conservation for mobile stations is proposed. And the path selection algorithm based on signal-to-noise ratio is improved to reduce energy consumed by mobile stations. The simulation results show that the energy-efficient routing algorithm for mobile stations can reduce the total energy consumption, taking up more system resources. The improved routing algorithm based on signal-to-noise ratio can also reduce the total energy consumption when the average traffic load of mobile stations is low.
