A kind of 4-nitro-azobenzene compound with terminal acetylene was prepared from 4-nitroaniline and 3-bromo-1-propyne by Williamson method and diazonium salt coupling reaction, and the total yield was high. Its structure was characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR. This azobenzene compound with terminal acetylene can be used as the monomer of“click chemistry”reaction, and the prepared product will be given special performance.
