The article introduced the revision situation of IEC 61008-1: 2012 (edition 3.1) for the residual current operated circuit-breakers (RCCBs) without integral overcurrent protection for household and similar uses, comparing with IEC 61008-1:1996 (edition 2.0) and IEC 61008-1:1996 am1(2002) and analyzing the differences about the scope, terms and definition, characteristics, marking, standard working conditions, construction and operation requirement, tests and annexes, so as to provide references for the corresponding technical personnel.
