There are crack, infiltration and thermal bridges in self-insulation wall of various filler blocks as self-filled masonry. The wall insulation technology should achieve the basic technical objectives of the energy-saving wall construction, and systematically solve the issues on block performance, accessory products of masonry, thermal bridges of concrete beams and columns, and other application process, and fi-nally found the overall technology system. The concept of system engineering is applied to Z-block-wall insulation technology system. It sys-tematically studied the formulation and block-type design of the Z-block, as well as the related mortar performance, insulation materials for thermal bridge, masonry and wall, and wall thermal characteristics. A complete and widely used self-insulation technology is developed with broad prospects.
