The calculation of the size of the wind turbine tower steel cutting is proposed in this paper. With a conical cylinder structure, wind turbine tower is a kind of tapered cylinder structure which is constituted of several conical shells rely on flange connection, the tower requests high requirements of dimension calculation and strict control of its error for each plate. A fixed blanking template is designed in this article. Input certain known data, the template will automatically calculate all the required size. The designed template minimize the human factors as much as possible as well.
