Guilin is nominated as one of the trial cities, which build learning communities, in Guangxi. How to promote effectively the community education in Guilin? This paper compares TVU education with the community education, and elaborates that TVU has its own advantages to promote effectively community educa-tion. It also puts forward some suggestion on promoting community education in Guilin and building learning harmonious community.
