As vocational colleges which train highly skilled talents, how to carry out scientific and technological innova-tion and actively adapt to economic development needs is one of the key issues of vocational colleges. Now scientific and technological innovation system, research orientation, teachers’ awareness of scientific and technological innova-tion are deficient in vocational colleges. Vocational colleges should drive local economic development form the points of innovation and technology positioning, scientific research management, oriented mechanisms, technological innovation activities, and cooperative platform for scientific and techno-logical innovation.
