Based on the magnetic field obtained from a straight finite current-carrying wire,we present an analytical expression for the magnetic field of a current loop consisting of a regular polygon by rotation vector field method. At the same time,the magnetic field of the regular polygon current is in agreement with the field around a circular loop current in the limiting case(N→∞).
