熊胆系传统贵重中药材,但明代以前并不为临床常用.本文根据汉唐至金元古籍,搜集整理有关熊胆临床运用概况,总结出明代以前熊胆的临床应用特点.熊胆多用于外科痔疮、儿科虫疾、痫证和眼科翳障等病证.熊胆功效集中于清热燥湿、清肝泻火和止痛逐瘀;主治病证以实证为主.熊胆用量均偏轻灵;熊胆方配伍偏重于矿物类和动物类药;使用方法上多为干燥熊胆研磨成粉,内服时取少量和乳汁、竹沥或用温开水送服;外用多配以冰片和樟脑,研为细末,以“擦、涂、点”法施药于患处;熊胆剂型多见丸、散、膏剂形式.熊胆加工与辨伪方法相对规范.
