This paper examines the simultaneous interpreting of C-E ceremonial speeches from the perspective of Schema Theo?ry, and stresses the importance of noticing the characteristics of ceremonial speeches and applying the language schema, content schema and structure schema to practice, which enables simultaneous interpreters to prepare the background knowledge and antic?ipate contextual information to improve the quality of interpretation.
