This article is intended to analyze the Queen’s speech on the 60th anniversary of throne in the framework of systemic functional grammar from one of the three meta-functions of systemic functional linguistics. The interpersonal function of Halli?day’s systemic functional linguistic theory as the theory support to analyze the speech text, the main purpose of this article is to explore how to use different language means to achieve the effect what the speaker wants to expect. For example, the support from the public, pep talk, and anti-war requirements and so on. At the same time, it can give the speaker some suggestion, that is, how to receive a better result of the speech.
