This paper introduced the fundamentals of sonar-chemistry and presented our experiment, which developed a new type plant growth promoter triacontanolby using beeswax saponification with supersonic wave irradiation. Based on the saponification value and rate, the saponification in different reactionconditions was studied and a set of data by using routine experimental method was collected in this paper. It was believed that as a new way, supersonic waveirradiation would be a valuable practice for the future study.
