This paper mainly expounds reflections on opening database application course in computer and related specialty in secondary vocational schools. According to the characteristics of computers and related specialty, combined with the practical teaching experience, with the actual database application course as an example, the paper elaborates the choice of the database language, the choice of teaching materials and network aided teaching as well as the commonly used teaching mode.
