γ–生育酚基本结构为色原醇环与一个含有16个碳的侧链.γ–生育酚具有抗癌功效,能干预细胞癌变相关信号转导通路,抑制促癌或增加抑癌相关基因表达,从而通过抑制肿瘤细胞增殖,促进肿瘤细胞凋亡等方式起着抗癌和防癌作用.该文阐述γ–生育酚吸收、代谢、抗癌作用及其分子机制研究新进展,并对未来研究进行展望.

γ–tocopherol is one kind of vitamin E consists of a chromanol and a side chain of 16 carbon.γ–tocopherol have been shown the role of preventing carcinogenesis. γ–tocopherol can disturb signal transduction pathways of carcinogenesis,and inhibit gene expressions of promoting cancer and increase expressions of suppressor genes. It will results decrease proliferation of tumor cells and promotes apoptosis of tumor cells. In this review,we summarized latest progress in γ–tocopherol studies of absorption and metabolism,antitumor effect and its molecular mechanisms,and made prospects for future investigations.
