In view of the characteristics of various irregular shapes of old and waste wood materials, a new shredder for various kinds of raw materials is designed, and the working principle of this shredder is briefly stated, with focus put on the its hydraulic pusher device, cutting mechanism and discharge unit and the design calculation of its main technical performance parameters conducted.
