The stamping process of an U-shaped asymmetrical electrical contact plate was an?alyzed and optimized. The design of layout, die structure and key parts were was carried out in which three-plate die holder and ball guide mechanism were adopted, a multi-step forming procedure was used to gradually realize the U-shaped asymmetrical bending and in?laying structure was applied in key die parts.
