The purpose of this paper is to consider the practical curriculum criteria of higher vocational education in the perspective of performance appraisal. It argues that the performance assessment system can be established in terms of standards in course design, content selection and instruction, and that the practical curriculum criteria can be set and adjusted in correspondence with the evaluation results.
