This paper elaborates the basic principles of valve hydraulic remote control system’s pumping station formation; discusses several basic forms and selection principles of valve remote control systems common in ocean engineering applications, the operational application of the emergency system and the countermeasures of design selection. This study proposes the key principles in design selection, the significance of installation and hot oil flushing, as well as some precautions and trouble-shooting methods.
