This article reviewed the application of single-and multi-strain probiotics for improv?ing milk production in dairy cattle, analysed and discussed the problems in these two kinds of probiotics and the measures that could solve these problems, providing a reference for its fur?ther research in enhancing milk production trait in dairy cattle.
