In order to investigate accurate dynamic change in water quantity under different dispatch modules, H-ADCP flow measurement system is applied at tidal river network controlled by gate by administrative department of Zhongshun Dawei project. The system features with low cost and easy maintenance. Water quantity data can provide guidance for preparation of project dispatch scheme. The system also can offer base data for dispatch module calculation. Furthermore, the system can be used as corollary equipment of automatic sluice and pump controlling system, which can provide real-time water quantity data for project operation. The thesis makes a description of the system from device selection, station location, device installation, data processing. The system has a good value for application in sluice and pump dispatch and reservoir joint regulation.
