使用Aqua和Terra卫星MODIS传感器获取的遥感影像数据,结合历史库归一化的垂直干旱指数模型,对湖北省2012年8月份旱情进行重点监测和分析,并利用实测数据对监测结果进行应用评价.结果表明基于MODIS数据的归一化垂直干旱指数在湖北省旱情监测中具有良好的应用效果.

The drought of the Hubei province in August 2012 is detected with the MODIS sensor data of the Aqua and Terra satellites, using the normalized PDI with the history images. By comparing with the measured data by hydrologic station, we analysis the achievements of the monitoring results of MODIS data. This paper concludes that the normalized PDI based on MODIS data is applicable and has a potential application in the drought monitoring of Hubei province.
