The main part of the reform in talent training of open universities is to meet the need of social economic development and the need of learners for their professional and practical ability by way of integrating expertise with excellent industrial resources, planning the curriculum and pracitsing teaching. Based on the practice of Beijing Open University, the article discusses how to integrate disciplines with excellent industrial resources, how to design curriculum, and how to teach according to the development of adult learners’ professional ability and learning ability. The article intends to explore valuable courses which can help learners absorb the knowledge they learned and develop their professional ability. Finally the article presents some basic hypothesis and several indicators on curriculum plan and implementation.
