基于自适应选频技术和自适应编码调制技术的短波自适应通信技术得到广泛研究,针对短波信道不可预测性、多径和衰落等特点,基于 Watterson 短波信道模型,提出了一种纯软件的可用于评估短波自适应通信系统性能的短波信道仿真算法,该算法能够刻画短波信道中长期变化(分钟量级),具有全数字化特点,可实时集成实现到短波自适应调制解调器中,使该调制解调器具有信道模拟器功能,具有很重要的实际意义.

@@@@HF adaptive communication technology based on adaptive frequency selection and adaptive coding modulation is now widely studied. In order to evaluate the performance of HF adaptive communication technology, a software HF channel simulation based on Watterson channel model is proposed, aiming at the characteristics of HF channel, including unrepeatability, multipath and fading. This algorithm could describe medium and long (in minutes) term variations of HF channel, and the whole implementation of this algorithm is digital. At the same time, it could be integrated into adaptive modem so that the modem coulld be used as a channel simulator. This is important practical significance.
