为了减小电缆故障测距的盲区,提高测距精度,提出一种电缆短距离开路故障的测距方法.分析对比电缆短距离开路故障后分别采用矩形波和钟形波作为发射脉冲进行测距的行波波形,可知采用矩形波作为发射脉冲时,发射波与反射波重叠后的拐点明显,易于发现.利用小波变换对信号的多分辨率处理和对突变信号的良好表征能力,确定发射波起点和该拐点位置,测出故障距离.该方法既可以为电缆故障人工测距提供参考点,又可以实现电缆故障自动测距.实测结果表明,该方法对于电缆短距离开路故障测距准确,可以有效减小行波测距的盲区.

In order to reduce the blind area of the cable fault location and improve the ranging accuracy, we propose a fault location method for the cable short open-circuit. Through analyzing and comparing the traveling waves which are produced by using the rectangular wave and the bell-shaped wave to locate the fault point when a cable is open circuit in a short distance, we know that the inflection point between the transmitted wave and the reflected wave is obvious and easy to find if using the rectangular wave as the transmit pulse. Wavelet transform can process a signal in the multi-resolution and has good characterization for the mutant signal, so we can find the inflection point and measure the fault distance by using this. This method can not only provide reference point for artificial cable fault location, and also can realize cable fault automatic location. The measured results show that this method is accurate for the cable short open-circuit fault location and can reduce the blind area of traveling wave fault location effectively.
