中国式农民工有着“半结构化”的身份,他们是农民,却从事着工人的工作.以“挣钱”、“过日子”等本土概念进行测量分析,试图呈现出中国式农民工身份转换的困境,以此为基础来展开对于农民工社会性质的讨论.结论是,工业文明想要把农民工规训为“结构人”,而工业文明却没有给与农民工相应的权利意识和社会保障基础,农民工在承受工业风险的时候退回到了小农逻辑.最终,农民工无法完成身份转化,他们还要固守着以小农逻辑为基础的“过日子”:在小农生产与工业生产之间寻找到最有利于自身的结合点,以完成小农家庭的再生产.中国式农民工特殊的社会性质使得他们成为继农业、农村、农民之后的“第四农问题”.

@@@@Chinese migrant workers has the “semi-structured” identity, they are farmers, but engaged in the work as workers'.This paper is trying to show the plight of Chinese migrant workers identity conver-sion, measuring and analyzing in the native concept of “making money”a “making a living”, and ex-pand the discussion of the social nature of the migrant workers .The conclusion is that, industrial civiliza-tion wants to discipline migrant workers as “structural”, but on the other hand, it did not give migrant workers the right awareness and social security base , migrant workers retreat to the smallholder logic when they are exposed to industrial risk .Ultimately, migrant workers can not complete identity transfor-mation, they have to stick to the smallholders logic-based “to live”: find the best integration point be-tween the smallholder production and industrial production , to complete the reproduction of smallholder families.The special Chinese migrant workers social nature makes them “the forth agricultural problem”after agriculture, rural and farmers.
