In higher education pattern,local undergraduate university shoulder important duties on cultivating application talents.The article combined reform attempts of environmental engineering of Putian university which located at west strait,start from fixed position of major, teacher troop construction, course system reform and practical ability improve,explored cultivation model of application talents for new local university.
