Taylor came from positivism,thus philosophy is the roots of management innovation.The truth of management innovation depends on evidence,and case management is difficult to prove the truth,Taylor adding“efficiency first”to give empirical standards to new manage-ment idea .“Work time study”,“select first-class workers”,“labor reciprocity”,all came from deduction of mechanistic and reduction . Positivism to guide the management innovation has its limitations,so we can learn the methods,do not copy its contents.
