Curriculum for English majors is based on language skills .It aims at developing students’ ability to use English in an all-round way by studying all the courses .However, language itself is a complex system and the use of language is also very complicated.Thus, language teaching and learning should be undertaken with a holistic approach .This approach provides grammar teaching and learning with more scope and makes grammar teaching and learning more vivid and practicable .
