This paper describes a design scheme of hardware and software of a low-cost, high-precision ultrasonic ranging system with microcontroller AT89S52 as the core. 74LS04 is used to drive ultrasonic transmitting probe and CX20106A is adopted for amplification, filtering and detection of the received signal and negative pulse output. Experimental results show that the hardware and software of the ultrasonic ranging system has reasonable design, strong anti-interference ability, and good real-time performance.
